ISO 9001 Accreditation
ISO 9001 is a quality assurance model made up of quality system requirements. This model applies to organisations that produce, install, and service products.
ISO expects organisations to apply this model, and to meet these requirements, by developing a quality system.
Tensor was assessed by National Quality Assurance Ltd and achieved the ISO 9001 certification in September 2003.
BSIA Accreditation
The British Security Industry Association is the trade association for the British security industry. With over 500 members, the BSIA are responsible for more than 70% of UK security business.
All members must be registered to ISO 9000 with a UKAS accredited inspectorate and must comply with relevant British Standards and Codes of Practice.
Tensor was welcomed as new members to the BSIA in November 2003.
Client Contractor National Safety Group
Tensor's Installation Engineers are covered by the Client Contractor National Safety Group (CCNSG) Safety Passport Scheme organised by the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB).
Some of our engineers have also had additional training to gain the Supervisors Passport.
The aim of the CCNSG Safety Passport Scheme is to ensure a basic knowledge of health & safety for all site personnel to enable them, after appropriate site induction, to work on site more safely with lower risk to themselves and others.
CPD Certification
The CPD Certification Service encourages the provision and assists in the dissemination of, high quality, independently certified Continuing Personal / Professional Development (CPD) throughout a wide range of industry sectors.
All professionals need to adapt to the rapidly changing environment within which they work. A commitment to CPD ensures that each individual is equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence to achieve adaptability.
Tensor was certified by the CPD Certification Service in June 2006.
