HM Prison Service

Tensor's visitor monitoring system has been modified and extended to incorporate the unique needs of the HM Prison Service.

In its simplest form, it is a low cost, easy to install visitor pass system, which runs on a PC or network of PCs within your prison using the Windows™ operating system.

The visitor monitoring software allows any HM Prison Service officer to quickly check the identity and monitor the movements of visitors.

Pre-booking of legal representatives, contractors, and inmate visitors can be entered into the system at any time, and cross-checked when the visitor actually arrives at the prison.

A non-transferable visitor pass is printed detailing information such as visitor name, inmate name, car registration etc. A digital photograph is also printed onto the ID card.

At control points operated by an HM Prison Service officer, the visitor's ID badge is simply swiped, and a high quality digital photograph of the visitor appears on-screen, allowing instant verification of identity. A log is also generated allowing you to track the movements of visitors around the prison.

Accurate records of any visitors to the prison are stored within the monitoring software, and can instantly be produced. Reports can also be generated in the event of a fire or any other emergency.

Data on the system can be stored for future reference or exported to other compatible databases.

Smooth and efficient access is provided by your Tensor prison monitoring system, whilst maintaining complete security and allowing you to control the movement and identification of contractors, visitors, and their vehicles.

Additional surveillance equipment can be combined with your visitor monitoring system, such as digital cctv and automatic number plate recognition devices.
